Carb change to 4 barrel

-
new intake, new carb., new filter, linkage, gaskets, sealer, tools, maybe new hoses and clamps, antifreeze, water, catch bucket for old antifreeze/water, speedy-dry, EGR can be eliminated ...or not

...then headers and dual exhaust, then tires and wheels, then subframe connectors, then new plugs and wires and a coil and and and....

All depends how involved you want to get into it.

Swapping out the intake manifold and all.

There is a simple Mr Gasket 2 to 4 bbl adapter that works quite well you can use on your existing 2 bbl manifold.

Otherwise got to roll up your sleeves and get deeper into it.

Edelbrock 1406 Electric Choke carbs work good with the Stock 318s. You will need the edelbrock mopar linkage arm to work with it. Also have to reposition and readjust your automatic kickdown linkage so it lines up and works proper with the trans.

I have done this during my engine build so it was easy. You will need a 4V intake of some sort and associated gaskets to do it on a motor in the car. 650 CFM carburetor of the flavor of your choice. Air cleaner ect ect. The critical thing with this swap is the TV control. When adapting the throttle linkage you will need to make sure the TV linkage is modified to the new carburetor linkage and must be fully retracted at the wide open throttle setting. This can be done with stock 4V linkage or aftermarket or homebuilt. Failure to set it up right will shorten you transmission life.
Good luck, post a few photos of the swap.
