They may look the same but think they are different as far as the hood latching goes. I think on the 64 the latching mechanism is under the hood. I do know on a 65 the latch is behind the nameplate on the hood. There is a cutout on the nameplate to access the latch lever. The 64 nameplate doesn’t have this. If I’m wrong, someone will provide the correct info.
Also would both fit and work for my 65’barracuda? I’m still learning about early a bodies. A guy has one for sale and I don’t want to drive 4 hours and get burned. Thanks everyone.
