They are easy. The input vacuum comes in and "T"s. One goes to the switch on the temperature control. When all the way cold it closes (or opens do not recall) the switch and causes the coolant valve under the hood to shut off to the heater core (a vacuum hose that runs back out). Now the valve on the top of the box is AC/Heat. You can figure out the 2 that go to that by cycling between AC and Vent/Heat. On AC it should have vacuum to pull the valve to flip the door to AC on Vent/AC it releases the door to heat. Put it on defrost and find the hose that gets/looses vacuum between defrost and heat. That goes to the valve for defrost. The hose that gets/looses vacuum between Max AC and AC goes on the valve on the very right side of the box to switch between recirculate and fresh air from the plenum...
