BBP conversion on my cuda
I swapped my small rear for a 8 3/4 with 5 x 4 1/2". I still have factory 9" drums up front. My dad redrilled the hubs and drums to make them 5 x 4 1/2". I just got the car on the road this spring and probably have around 500 miles on it without any issues. I will be switching to front disc brakes this fall as the 9" drums do okay, but I'd like a little better braking.
As far as rear wheel I went with a 8" wheel with a 275/65R15. I had to add a 1/4" spacer to get 1/2" clearance between the leaf spring and tire. The stance was good, but when I would haul people in the backseat the outter side of the tire would rub slightly on the quarter panel lip when taking a corner so I had to raise up the rear of the car just a tad.
