This is something that needs to be worked on.
A. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we can not leave feedback on deals that don't happen. When I declined Bigboy's offers in PMs, that also meant neither leave feedback. He couldn't leave feedback about me for saying I wasn't interested in his offer, and I couldn't leave feedback for his petulance.

B. It's our understanding that management decision and policy is to do exactly what Oldmanmopar did, start a thread. That banning a person is often ineffective because sign up under a new screen name.* Therefore, to be effective as a policy, it should be SOP to leave such threads and truncate them where the name calling started. (In the recently deleted thread could be right where RDA stirred the pot.) That's my suggestion for at least a temporary fix.

As per toolmanmike I will not interact , sell or help on this site or its members. Con men have priority. And all I was doing was letting members know what he did to me.

I was asked by Joey. If I left him feed back? For what? he never bought the items. What a joke. This man was has a very bad rap sheet on here and they are worried about others calling him names.

I have been called some pretty bad names in many threads by Yellow rose . Those threads are still there. I was told they cannot monitor them all there are thousands. But toolmanmike was on those threads. I guess its not only who you know , Its who ?

Any one expecting parts from me don't stand by your mail box waiting. Its going to start getting cold outside. The Motors that were coming here ? Don't bother we don't need the work. I won't let my son bring them in now.

I know I was offered that they would put the thread back up. But once someone stabs you it doesn't matter if they pull the knife out . The wound is still there. How can it be the same? knowing some have privileges others do not. I'll come here to read and laugh as other members do. I was a consistent gold member. I am not dealing with Bias moderators. That was the reason I left FBBO. And I never joined the truck forum. Their loss not mine.

I noticed that Joey responded to the last thread , That was opened. He said what he had to say and closed it. I guess he don't want to hear how his members feel about Bigboy 68. Who will be here to keep on buying cheap with a story of being poor and reselling at a profit. I was told the rear I sold him cheap for his on going project which I never saw one picture of. Was sold on another site.

Lets get real. Stop the favoritism be consistant or members will leave and no one will join.

This is How I feel about this whole situation, You all have your right to disagree and post your opinions or even call me names. I don't condemn members for their opinions or name calling. Sticks and stones. Thanks for listening Steve

It's up to toolmanmike to step up like a man and fix this issue. Oldmanmopar was going to mail me some fasteners,but because of this problem,it's not going to happen.

There is no "fix". I offered Oldmanmopar to put his story back up and get rid of the lynch mob that followed it but he aparently doesn't want me to. That's how I can fix it. Oldmanmopar spoke his piece as did Bigboy. When the menbers started the name calling and the "face smashed in" comments and the like it was time for the thred to go away. Read through OMM's statement, There was no sale, no money or parts changed hands. Not taking sides here, we as moderators can't. But our job is to keep the site running smooth and clean and try to divert these kinds of issues.
 
Well toolmanmike,you pissed off the wrong guy on this site. Oldmanmopar is one the best go to guys for A body parts.
 
That was my suggestion for as a 'fix' since it seems consistant with what seems to be policy.
Understandable to me that the name calling comments would be deleted.

That said, there are ongoing problems with the current policy and procedures regarding bad dealings over sales that were incomplete. So that still needs to be figured out.

What's too bad is that he chooses to handle a non-sale as the end of the world. If you guys don't like the way Bigboy does business, don't do business with him. Simple as that.
 
Maybe you should get rid of bigboy and look after the good members. If I was a mod I would have explained to Oldmanmopar what i was going to do with the thread,removal of foul posts. And by the way you don't have to YELL.
 
I agree. It's not even the question of whether we want to deal with a specific member. The question here is about being informed so each person can make their own decision. If it can't be done via feedback, and it can't be done by posting threads, then what is there to base a decision on?

I offered to remove the b/s and put the post back up. OMM was reminded of that offer both privately and publiclly just in case he missed it the first time.

Bullshit has been ongoing forever with this dipstick. All to a few pair of blind eyes.
I havent bought anything from Oldmanmopar, but I can tell you the knowledge he passes or shares along the way is extremely valuable, and I appreciate it.
Scenario....if this was an innocent spat between 2 members.
You have one that offers up a lifetime of knowledge, info, parts etc....the other involved in the spat is there to "absorb/take/use".
But the user keeps on keeping on and nothing done about it.
What a joke. The "giver" in this case (omm) is told to like it or lump it.

Also going thru health issues so memory may be a factor....remember the assclown has multiple alias'.
How do you know to avoid someone?? Shitty feedback system..that's it? No longer allowed to voice opinion?

Just to respond Matt, There has to be a sale for there to be feedback. How can you complain and comment on something that didn't happen. There have been numerous threads about bad dealings and until they get out of hand they remain up. Nobody is preventing you from voicing your opinion about your sale or purchase that went bad, but talk to your fellow members that are getting out the rope.
 
So if no parts or $$ exchanges hands, then nothing bad can happen? Not a good rational to base a system on.
 
OK @Oldmanmopar , your thread goes back up without all the b/s that follows your post. It will be your warning to the members.

toolmanmike,you can put Oldmanmopar's thread back up just do it, cleaned up of course. Oldmanmopar deserves an apology.
