I finally found a set of 14" X 5 1/2" steel wheels for my '71 Dart GT. My searches tell me I need 7/16 X 20 (RH) lug nuts.

Will these from SummitRacing work?

Thanks for any help/guidance!

Get chrome lug nuts if your nuts are going to show....otherwise those are the ticket if you have hub caps

Be sure your lug studs are all RH I don't know when they stopped using LH on the left side.

Don't know. Do the wheels have 60* conical seats? If they do, those will work.

The wheels are factory 14" X 5 1/2" steel wheels. I assume the 60* nuts are what were used from the factory.

Yes they are. This is the first mention that they were factory wheels.

I am curious if 60° is pretty standard. I got a scare. I bolted on my new (used) purchase and had a hell of a wobble from the front. The wheel hub was hitting the brake drum weights. I drilled the welds and knocked the weights off. 3 on the drivers drum and 2 on the pass. drum. None on the rear. I can't believe a drum needs 3 weights to balance. Must have weighed 3/4 of a pound. LOL I didn't notice any big vibration.

Yes, 60* is the industry standard for factory style and most other conical seats on wheels. Whether they are aluminum, steel or whatever. If wheels have a conical seat, they are generally 60*. I think there are exceptions such as some OTR trucks and heavy equipment.

That's why I wanted to make sure with my previous comments, because true to form around here, there was information left completely out that was taken for granted everyone should know. You know, crystal ball info. lol

You can never be too carfull nowdays! LOL

If you are using a dog dish, or full wheel cover, those are correct. If you are going with just the steel wheel,no caps, I prefer these in a 7/16".

If you have the tire / wheel ballanced on the car it will balance the drum and hub as well
Yep but that's old school though. We had the old Hunter on car balancer at the dealer I worked at decades ago. It could balance out some issues that a regular balancer couldn't

because OP removed balance weights from drums it is the only way I can see to get the system back into balance ( short of having the drums balanced)
