I am curious if 60° is pretty standard. I got a scare. I bolted on my new (used) purchase and had a hell of a wobble from the front. The wheel hub was hitting the brake drum weights. I drilled the welds and knocked the weights off. 3 on the drivers drum and 2 on the pass. drum. None on the rear. I can't believe a drum needs 3 weights to balance. Must have weighed 3/4 of a pound. LOL I didn't notice any big vibration.

Yes, 60* is the industry standard for factory style and most other conical seats on wheels. Whether they are aluminum, steel or whatever. If wheels have a conical seat, they are generally 60*. I think there are exceptions such as some OTR trucks and heavy equipment.

That's why I wanted to make sure with my previous comments, because true to form around here, there was information left completely out that was taken for granted everyone should know. You know, crystal ball info. lol
