Proform Adjustable Pinion Snubber

-
One thing I hate is the MoPar one is the pin in the adjustable rattles at times over bumps. This adjustable one in the first post looks to have a smaller rubber bumper than the MP one...I like the idea of how you can adjust it more accurate though....

I bought stock height leafs from Firm Feel for my ‘69 Dart. Last time under the car with weight on the rear end, it looked like I had over 2” between the snubber top and the floor. On my rr, I bought one of the older Mopar performance red adjustable snubbers. Even in the lowest pin hole it was still too tall to fit in there. Dick at Firm Feel thought maybe an inch to one and a half for a mostly street driven car. I had to cut it, then weld it. I just wonder if while cornering hard, and the snubber started making contact, how that might affect the handling? I’ve never experienced wheel hop on any mopar. Chrysler biased the axle forward of the leaf center, unlike Fords (Bullit Mustang)

This is a poor boy track only car so ride quality is ... second to launch quality
Stick car but has 727 now.
New Airshocks going in with individual lines for tuning. I'll start with 1/2" at the ride height needed to keep the tires clear. Probably will only need about 40-50 psi.in both to start.
Thanks for the input guys!

I'm old school, love a big 70s style rake like these old ProStocks
