What have you used???? Part number or links are best... thanks

Shocks don't add height unless they are spring overloads or air shocks.

shocks dont do it, all suspension is spring and mounts. Shocks only dampen. Maybe just a extended shackle. If you do raise the rear, you may need a shock extension. Even air shocks are not the best as they put stress on the shock mount: not designed to suspend 1500 lbs.

well, I didn't want to go the spring shackle route, although I've done it many times in the past. I don't want to change the leafs. Trying to stay away from air shocks. I think some use adjustables - like a coil over shock - that can add some height. I want 1" on the rear of one of my Dusters.

Be careful with the overloads. The springs can come too close to the lip of the gas tank. Early A's are real bad for that.

Sorry for not answering your question directly but how about adding a leaf to you existing springs?
thanks, I did think about that as an option, but I wanted to upgrade the rear shocks anyways, so I wanted to see if somebody used something and was happy.

I ran those for years on many different cars. They worked real good on the 67 barracuda with traction bars and 4.56 suregrip..
awesome, thanks for the review! Traction bars work best with stock leafs, and that's how I'm set up right now. I think I'll have to get these shocks on the way..... :)

IMO, only adding 1" will not require a long shock. Just add some helper springs.

Shock extensions

What are these going on? It's going to make it ride rougher. Good luck with it.

Monroe Sensatrac “Loadleveler” shock add about an inch to your rideheight.
As for a shock they are nice/average, but nothing special other than that.
