Yup, 408. It will be similar to my Duster.

Nothing too exciting, but I did get the front end bolted to the Rotisserie yesterday.

I won't be making much Hot Rod progress on the Dart or Duster for a while. I have shoulder Rotator Cuff surgery scheduled in the morning. Won't be able to use my right arm for a while. I will be back on this as soon as possible.

Alex

This is as far as I've got with cleaning and scraping of the drivers fender well, still got a lot of cleaning left to do:

Take your time and heal up right! I’m gonna be in Colorado the weekend of October 13th for the Broncos/Titans game, I might swing in for a visit!

One good thing about the rest / re-hab...lots of time to mentally pre-assemble everything and (day) dream up new ideas.

Those skills (of daydreaming about our future hot rod builds) stealthily honed in our high school years will now be put to use.

Mopar to ya'

Thanks Denny! Thinking about getting that shiny new HDK system on my Dart! Certainly a fun thing to think about!

Last night was rough. Tried to go off the pain meds, and woke up at 4:45 am with some awful pain. Had to go back on the Narcs. I’ll try again tonight to stop taking the pain meds.

Ween yourself off of them as you can, but be sure to take them a little while before you go to rehab. Your rehab will go better if it doesn't hurt as bad to do it. I get why you want off of them, and I don't like them either. In 2013, I had a kidney stone about the size of a golf ball...well, it felt like it anyway. The Doc prescribed me some oxycodone for the pain. I took just enough to get me by till they busted the stone. Get well soon!

Almost 2 weeks post surgery, feeling a lot better. I've been scraping with one arm. Just trying to remove as much of the old undercoating as possible, get it as smooth a possible. The gloss black is POR rust encapsulating paint, honestly there is zero rust here. The White hazy area is oven cleaner working away on the grease. Then I will spray a new coating of 3m Undercoating. Frame will be body color. More to do to get it all done, no so easy with one arm.

Yesterday a quart of gorgeous DuPont Deltron, original PPG Ditzler #13371 or LL-1 showed up. My Dad would have loved this color. This is for the engine compartment. Can’t wait to spray it!

With a little effort, and some wild passion for these Mopars....magic can happen!
check the before and after pics. Very pleased.

Also, Old K comes off this Thursday with the help of the guys of the Mopar Therapy group.
