Relocating Rear Leaf
When mini tubbing you're able to get that tub right tight against the frame rail. For maximum room it's best to get the front spring box flush with the frame on the outside. It does make a difference.
Check it out. This is on my 64. As you can see, the spring box would be the first thing to get into the tire sidewall.
It's not a big deal in my case, as the spring box is no longer used and can be trimmed back. But installing it flush on the outside to start with would have given additional room in my case.
Box is already marked, will get a trim one of these days.
