Brake booster removal?

When I was looking for a booster replacement, I 'found' one on the above site that said it fit my make/model/year. Only after asking them for a confirmation of fit was I told, 'It won't fit your car. We don't have one that will work for your car.'

I didn't bother pursuing the matter, asking why their fit calculator said it would when they said it would not.

Just 'cuz The Web says it's so doesn't mean it IS so. Best to be careful to hopefully avoid disappointment.

The Summit part you refer to is the same part listed for my '73. Besides the WAY too many 'fail out of the box' comments, the picture of the unit doesn't match for fitment on my car. Not that I can tell, anyway. Also, listed as an 8" booster, the OEM unit on my '73 is an 8.5" Midland according to Dewey. Again, the same part you list being shown as applicable to my '73, I'd have to say, 'I don't think so.'

Send it to Booster Dewey, he can rebuild it.
