I remember Ford “grabber orange” for the ‘70 Trans Am Boss 302 models were a problem & Penske dark blue.
They had the same difficulty and were told “those are really old colors & we don’t have the info”.
I had to get some small samples mixed to use as samples to get copied.

Well, such is life. I have taken the defroster vent, which is ruined, but the back side is intact and good and held it up where the radio was. This seems to be fine since the sun has not gotten to it. Taken pictures of the defroster vent at the side of the good paint to see the difference. Now jumping in the shower, and then I will drive up there to see if we can find a different color that matches, or I will drive further up to Ukiah and see if they can match it.
