Having just done a search for headlight adjuster, I thought it might be helpful to collect the basics in single thread.

Adjuster and screw were sold as an assembly.
1966 and 1967 cars used p/n 2606 985 (A,B,C bodies and Imperials)
Replacements can be purchased as part of a kit with the springs.
521Restorations, Vans, OER, and AMD all offer the same kit. Well probably the same. Seems hard to believe that two companies are repopping these parts.

However most of the photos on-line now are tiny.
@Dana67Dart posted this in a wanted thread.
"I was looking at the photos on classic ind site for your year Barracuda and looking at my 1967 dart versions and looking at your photo of your broken spring which just barely shows the headlight adjuster.

In the case of my 67 Dart. There is a metal piece that has to be removed so the plastic can be squeezed to remove from sheet metal. learned this the hard way!

Reposting here so it doesn't disappear. Good info!

Its really hard to see that metal clip on the car (even with the headlight holder removed).

1968-71 used a different adjuster. p/n 2785 842 (photos here)
as did 1972-78 p/n 3574 085
The '66 - '67 adjuster screw has 1/4-28 threads. Not sure about the later ones.

Did I little more looking before buying.
AMD's kit has black adjusting screws, and the others have plated screws (more correct).
None of them use the same photos, so maybe each makes up their own kit.
Most include two pan head sheet metal screws. Don't know what they are for.

FWIW Dorman 42125 adjusters look the same even though they don't list them for any Chrysler applications. ????
