On my Duster, the drivers side Dougs header wouldn't let my torsion bar go in either. Simple fix, no beating, no dent: took my friction jack , stuck one end in the collector and one end in a hole in the frame and jacked it over until I tweaked the header enough for clearance. https://www.tooltopia.com/_img/ALC/ALC77043.jpg
