7 1/4 rear brakes
I had a rear DS wheel lock up, after removing the drum, (a 9 inch drum) I found this broken spring.
I posted over in the wanted section for a spring, BlackHatGuy came through and sent me some hardware of of a 7 1/4 his car had just broken. Here's a pic of the spring he sent, the good spring from the opposite side of My car, and the broken spring I need to replace, NAPA ordered the kit, but when it came in the parts were not correct.
I did try the spring BHG sent, but just by the way it's made, the overall length and the length of the coils it looks like it would interfere with the brake adjuster.
Does anyone know why there's a difference, venture a guess as how to fix it, or possibly have a spring I can buy?
