Bank fees, what are your thoughts

-
Just be aware of how you use your debit/credit cards. Everything you buy is recorded somewhere, sold to marketers etc. Let an insurance company know how much you spend on cigarettes, booze, fast food... I'm guessing your rates could vary accordingly..

Now I'm not a big conspiracy theorist or anything like that, I'd just prefer to use cash most of the time and remain anonymous. And if you ask nicely, you can almost always get 5% off by paying cash..

carry on.

We withdraw enough cash to pay for groceries eating out etc. Other than utilities, rec fees and taxes we do most stuff with cash

Let's see ... two cents monthly interest ... five dollar fee because my balance dropped down too low ... 1099 form at the end of the year for 24 cents interest that I have to report as income ... wait a minute, I LOST $4.76 didn't I?

Agree with the cash thing. Be sides its all ways an adventure to watch a kid try to make change and god forbid count it back. Someone is always trying to look over your shoulder be it marketers or big brother.

No kidding around the way to get around the bank fees if see if your favorite convenient store with ATM's are tied to a local bank or credit union.

My bank is tied to Wawa's and that is the only place I withdraw cash. Don't know the last time I paid a fee.....
