Do you sleep easy knowing your jack is made in China?

Until 3 weeks ago I was using an LG cell phone from 2012.

It served me very well until some web sites I used (weather radar site, which are important to motorcyclists and classic car owners in FL) started coding in a java/flash version the phone os didn't support, and even after that I still used it for phone/text/camera.

3 weeks ago it went through the washer and the dryer.

It actually survived and I was able to dry it out and get it booted up and saw I had messages, however the touch screen didn't work. I actually had another identical phone, and swapped the screen over, but it must have been the MLB because the touch still didn't work. I was not able to swap the account because the carrier no longer had a provision for that phone (even though it still worked on their service) My new phone is 4G, so I couldn't port my 3G plan over and my bill went for $25 to $34 a month.

...but my weather radar sites work again!
