So, one last thing on 9/11 that week. So the group I was part of was Civil Air Patrol, the New York wing of it were the only aircraft outside of military aircraft allowed in the sky those first few days. Reason was, we had ground mapping radar that could tell you where bodies/victims were in the rubble. The very first images and mapping were done by Civil Air Patrol and that next night, I got to see those images, before most of the public did.
