HELP!! with my 75 Dart

So..As far as cleaning the carb.. Are you suggesting i remove it and clean it or simply use a cleaner like seafoam or? I'm not sure I'm comfortable removing it..I've seen it done and I'm sure i could do it with a few pointers..just don't wanna mess anything up...
Yes, for a proper cleaning the carburetor would have to be removed and disassembled, cleaned and reassembled with new gaskets. It may seem daunting, but it is really not all that difficult. It's just terrifying for someone who has never done it. Watch a bunch of you-tube videos, go to the library and read anything you can get ahold of. Make sure your phone is charged and take a bunch of pictures before you pick up the first tool. Then take pictures at each step as you proceed. Then assemble in reverse order.
A rebuild kit should be available from Holley. Having a friend with you helps. Sometimes they see or remember something you missed. This misadventure you are experiencing is an ideal learning opportunity for you to learn more about your car and what is needed to maintain it.
Have faith in yourself and believe. You can do this.
