I spun it out on a gravel road backward into a dirt bank
bent the exhaust- ran like crap but not noticeable till I got under it
I asked Ak "does the cam have lots of lift or lots of duration"
He answered "it has lots of lift AND lots of duration"
He ground cams on a DIY converted grinder
I did not ask where he got is masters
I ground a few cams on that "grinder"

BTW that Ford could eat early FI chevies, so could a 55 Nailhead Buick
quickest thing back then was Les Ritchie's 57 312 Blower Ranchero
even faster when I put dual quads from an "E" motor under the bonnets
Les busted his knuckles shifting the three on the tree into second
and his right rear went up in smoke till we showed him how to load the chassis
