Drag Week Help

i'm sure i did. so many cars its hard to remember..lol
I skimmed through the day's video (its on Youtube) and spotted his car.
He's running well, but not close enough to the index to be at the very top. Around 10.8 Some guy ran 10.0 something in the lane next to him at Cecil. Wow.
He's the guy who built my headers and breather crossover. Very skilled and smart guy.
Well known in the Dodge Shelby and turbo world. One of those guys clued me in.

When I am not mistaken the last (second) run was a 10.81 @ 114.23mph.
Sadly loosing speed each run...

Anyway, @Cody, keep going at it!
Thanks. Maybe the summary sheet for yesterday is posted now. I haven't looked yet.

That looks like it. Sure there aren't too many Omnis running. LOL
He's running it with what looks like a wheelie bar attached to the trailer hitch. Prob hidden in the photo by the christmas tree base.
I assume that's a method ot keep put additional weight onto the front, or at least keep the back from squatting.

leaving atco they went right by a friends place along that route.. we laughed at how weird a rout it was but it was probably better then getting one to 95 and heading south.

there were like 5 fwd turbo mopars there.. don't remember if there was another omni though..

here are a bunch of pics i took yesterday.. https://photos.app.goo.gl/92SVmZ8GqqpV18BW9
Thanks. Link works fine - and I'm not logged into a g**gle account when I went there.
That's Brian. Looks like he cut a better light than the guy in the next lane. Not sure that matters for Drag Week scoring.

yea the reaction time doesn't count. they can sit there for 5 minutes if they want.. ET is all that matters.. it really messes up taking video..lol

Cody, I was thinking about the copper colored chunks in the trans pan. Probably remains of a thrust washer. It was nice to meet you and glad you finished the week. :)

Thanks for all the replies guys. The early week MPH issue was the MSD box. After that was replaced 2nd gear went on vacation. Friday it went 10.45 @ 129 shifting directly from 1st to 3rd. John Cope said it could be band adjustment so I'm going to adjust that tonight. If not I'll pull the pan and see what I find. I'm going to post a bunch of pics in the drag week 2019 thread.

Rhett, it was great to meet you!
