If it doesn't work, your ultrasonic is NFG! I can take rusty bolts and put them in the basket and they come out looking brand new bare metal. It will take the black off of the throttle plates in no time so I always take it completely apart.
I have read where they can be adjusted but I have no clue. Let me ask you, can you hear yours run? I've read also that their frequency cannot be heard by the human ear. I can hear the hell outta mine. It hurts my ears. It makes bubbles though so it appears to work in that respect.
