Esophageal cancer, I heard this morning. Seems not too long ago, he was still performing in the Bay Area. Was a resident around here.
 
The troubles he was in, he is likely happy that he is there
 
I'm not sure there's a period in my life that didn't have his music in it. I always liked it. He was cool. May he RIP.
 
I've always been a big fan of him, l love his song gimme some water which you hardly ever hear anymore. May he rest in peace, I will miss watching real money.

He came from a family of police officers .
Even went to the academy!
Dropped out to become a rock star.

My wife and I were just talking about him having cancer. Man he went quick. RIP. Great musician.
 
I was born and raised in Pittsburg California and saw him multiple times (the Concord Pavilian being one). Always a great show and his lead guitarist was outstanding. I left there in 1995... He lived in Moraga, not far from a college roommate of mine.
