Tram gauge vid

I didn't find it as funny as I did find it annoying that he was yelling all the time.
The general idea was kinda ok,
but 1) not all holes punched in sheet metal are symmetrical side to side;
and 2) the measurements can be misleading because he is ASSUMING these holes are in the same horizontal plane. If the frame/subframe horns are not the same distance vertically from a horizontal datum plane(like you might have as a result of a collision), then your horizontal tram measurements are going to be erroneous.
Damn! All these big words I hafta go look up now!
I get his demeanor is not for everyone.. I probably would like having him for a neighbor for about a week.. then it would get annoying.
I think he made this to get the general idea across, not so much as a full course body measurement tutorial.. and it helped me understand why this is such a useful tool.
I think I get what you're saying about the horizontal datum.. you don't have to explain it it to me, google is my friend. When I have questions, I'll post them up.

Thanks for pointing out the issues you had with the vid! More for me to think about!
