Well of course they do cause they aint just shocks. Can you tell a difference in ride quality at all?

actually, they ride smoother. I was surprised. Nice improvement. I need to re-adjust the traction bars now. When I brake torque, the drivers side lifts more aggressively than the passenger side. Used to lift evenly.

Looks great I'm gonna have to get me some of those my dart has a really bad sag to the rear end I put on new leafs and it didn't help it any so I put on shackles it helped but now i know all the negatives of shackles I dont want to run them so I will try them and see if it helps . Thanks for the video

You should be really looking closely at the rear of that car. Frame rails, all that. Something doesn't sound right there.

I have some pictures. I have checked the frame rails everything looks ok to me. I dont think it's anything wrong with it I think they just sit lower than my liking. I see it on alot of them most of the a body hardtops I have seen that I like the way they set have ss springs which is something I'm gonna do eventually.

now all you need is worn out front shocks and /6 T bars.

Give it the stink bug stance.

Why not get a different offset rear tire, roll the lip of the fenderwell to get it in there. Dusters have pretty big rear wheel houses.

lip is rolled up..… has a b-body rear end.... I like a little bit of a deep dish wheel, don't like new frisbee rims on a old school car… LOL

didn't think they still sold those.. my express truck has a set thats been there 20 + years...

not much different then air shocks but less adjustment. :)

What shocks did you have before the swap?

Dayum !!! Lookit those shackles !!!! Looks like drilled 1 foot long bar stock was used to make them things.

Some dude in my home town back in in the 80s had a 1970 duster with a slant sux. Thing had a cherry bomb muffler, skinny assed 14" cragar S/S on all 4 corners, and air shocks, extenders, shackles, and the plastic harwood scoop pop riveted on. Tons of performance parts stickers of **** it didnt have adorned the quarter windows. This thing was a slow wet fart sounding stink bug. Yep Buckalew, I'm calling you out

Same deal as air shocks. You're just taking some of the weight of the car onto the shocks, which puts it right on the shock mounts that were never intended to carry the weight of the car.

Hopefully you checked to make sure your shock mounts were in good condition first. Eventually though they'll pound out just like they would with a set of air shocks. Only way to do it right is to re-arch the springs, everything else will end up biting you in the *** later.

Years ago my older brother had a 67 mustang coupe. Tried the air shocks to clear some big cragars he put on the *** end. One good hard bump, and one shock tore thru the upper mount. Kinda like a loud bang with a scrape from the tire on the wheel opening, and then a continuous rattle from the busted loose shock. Epic fail.

Air shocks and load levelers are two different shocks. Air shocks are no longer a shock when pumped up enough to raise the *** end.
Some of you guy's are speculating what you THINK will happen. My results were different when using the levelers.
Opinions vary
