Anyone Use the Proflex Commander

I've been writing E85 tunes for over 10years and the fuel's +100oct awesome especially if your Boosted. BUT E85 requires 20-30% more fuel than Gas.

The big issue I have with kits like these is that many stock injectors, regardless of make or model, just don't have an extra 30% capacity at WOT to deliver the added fuel E85 demands.

To be safe, at the VERY LEAST, WOT A/F needs to be monitored with a wideband and injector duty cycle measured. You most likely will have to add larger injectors.

Also to maximize performance at WOT with E85, timing should be adjusted as well. A DiabloSport tool can adjust fuel and timing at WOT and also flash a Custom tune if larger injectors are needed.

An alternative to this kit is a new tune via HP Tuners. For many 2013 and newer Chryslers, HPT has unlocked and CAN ADD the factory Flex Fuel algorithmes to your NON FLEX FUEL PCM. This is by far the BEST means to add E85, since there are A LOT of tables that the Flex Fuel PCM modifies AS WELL AS it will automatically dial in the proper ignition timing for all conditions for E0-E85(start, idle, cruise WOT)
