Dart dies when hot???

Yes, I do have a shop working on it, first time in over 25yrs of owning this car just cause I don't have the time to mess with it right now but I still like driving it. I do trust the shop, guys a Mopar guy. No I'm not intending to go tell him the internet told me you should do this or that. But it is a bit of a mystery problem and I'd like to learn for myself what it could be and if anyone's had a similar problem, it may keep from me from sitting on the side of the road with the hood up for an hour next time. I appreciate everyone's responses and knowledge.

Ignition coils and ignition control boxes can fool you sometimes. Normally, you think ignition as either off or on. But a coil or ignition box can fail in such a way that they simulate running out of fuel. Makes the engine not cut right off. Sometimes they can be difficult to diagnose, because by the time you jump out to get whatever to check it out, it's already cooled back off. Good luck with it.
