No you go back to damn school. None of you is getting what I am talking about. The means of measure does not matter. You cannot look at it in one dimensional thought, since the piston moves in the bore. I don't care if you measure using turds. If the piston is in a different place when you measure, you have a different amount of room. More cubic inches. More cc's more sq in. Like I said earlier, it does not matter since the OP has obviously figured out the solution to his problem. ....and he didn't use rope.
