Hello! can someone PLEASE help me? see link below, why would there be a passenger & driver side of that rotor? ufortunately SSBC is out of business and no one seems to know anything when I call JEGS & Summit.

SSBC Replacement Brake Rotors 23077AA1A

thank you!!

The one and only reason I could imagine is if for some reason the studs are threaded left hand on one side and right hand on the other.
Hard to imagine on new aftermarket rotors, but I don't see one indication of why it would matter on the rotors you linked.

Maybe if you cross them the car turns right when the steering is turned left.

Normally the directional rotor has a angle to the fins in the center for cooling, a solid rotor should make no difference.

is this a left handed thread stud on this rotor for drivers front. If yes, whats the part # for the rf with right thread studs

Thank you for your question. SSBC 23077AA1A brake rotor is designed with right-hand thread studs only.

Probably just hedging their compatability bet by telling you these are only available with right hand thread studs. Use them on either side with compatible lug nuts.

Thank you all for your replies. Many thanks. I just ordered then from summit as they have some in stock. I will be installing them next weekend and I’ll post if they work / are correct etc.

Thank you again and @harrisonm yep they went out of business. Website gone. Phone number out of service. :(

Well, damn. Fortunately. I called them several years ago with a question, and they told me that their kit was based in 65-67 Mustang. So if I have any problems, I know what to buy.

I would buy up a spare set if you can, it’s a crap shoot and frustrating trying to find other parts that fit. Summit still has some. If all of the stuff I just ordered fits I’m going to get one more set most likely so I have a backup.

Hello! The rotors are fine for either side. They are not slotted and the vents between the cheeks are straight / no curve. And they fit :)

Thank you all for the help!!
