Dodge eco diesel pickup??
I know of 4 ppl that haven’t had a problem with their eco’s. I have also heard some horror stories. But just on the earlier 1s. Fca has made a few so called improvements over the years. Kim
What the heck is a "def" ?
I know a guy that's got the little diesel and loves it and its mileage .
My 2002 dodge quadcab that I drove for 15 yrs , leaked antifreeze , I made an extra rad. cap gasket out of a plastic qt. oil can and slipped it over the tangs on the cap, making the gasket thicker , worked for the rest of the 15 yrs./about 140,ooo--------simple , no money or dealer involved !
I only had 2 problems w/ that truck , front wheel bearings at about 140,00 , "5 bolts each side after pulling the wheels" , and a rad. leake at the bottom left hand corner , which I made a clamp and clamped the seam back together, was on it when I traded it yrs later -----------
Haven`t had any trouble out of my 2014 ram , except the check engine light comes on for a while after I abuse it on the hi way, but goes off and stays off until the next time.
Information center says all is good when it happens, will get around to having it checked "one of these days .''
