Ballpark with a stock style cam would be comp ratio = octane
i.e. 8.7 = 87, 9.1 = 91 etc

If that's the case a motor with 12.0 to 1 would need 120 octane fuel . I can't imagine the octane that a 13.0 to 1 would need
