Rug Installation question

The carpet slips under the pump up to the screws and under the heater core. I just install at least my 100th carpet and never had to trim the front. Also don't trim the side to much the door sill must hold it on top of the pinch weld.

The front carpet must overlap the rear it doesn't matter how much. Slip it front under the heater and washer pump as far as you can. I did not remove the pump or heater to install the carpets. The sill plates are the last thing I installed.

There may be more pictures in this thread. If not pm me for pictures of the carpet at the pump.

Finally paint

Although it is a molded carpet for a stick car it does need to be trimmed at the sill plates. The piece that overlaps the back has a flaw from the manufacturer where the edge has some damage but it will be under the seat so I'm not to concerned about it. If you can send me a couple of pics of the foot pump area that would be great. I'm still cleaning up the kick panels and sill plates. I have to cut out the hole for the shifter too which scares the hell out of me. It will be my last step in the installation. Thanks
