SKS or AK47

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to mention reloading

I wonder what the cost would be
I guess I would need powder, primers, a tumbler (to clean the casing) actual tips, and the press
if I were to guess at that, and look at the cost per round, and take into consideration id have to buy the first set with brass casings...I would guess it would be a TON of rounds, before the cost per round made up for the initial investment

Depends on what you are reloading (caliber) and why. It can come out better for you if obsolete round, or if you want absolute perfection from each round. But last I looked, which has been a while. The x39 brass was up over $1 a fired round... I will get 5-6 loaded rounds for that... Which you need more than you think to reload. Powder scale, tumbler, press, dies, sizers, crimper, it's a whole nother world. For something worth doing it, I would say go for it, but not the x39...
