Stop in for a cup of coffee

26R is group and size for that Batt. Yes, you might have a small draw on the battery when not in use. Could be in the alt. A bad diode. Use a test light to check for a draw. Take the clip, hook it to the positive battery cable, removed from the battery, and take the pointed probe to the positive post on batt. It should not light at all. If it does, there is a draw. The brighter the light the more drain.

It was in my head. I can not recall ever parking a car, locking the doors and leave it in neutral. I am not saying I have never done it, but I can not recall it. Then, like a month ago or so, the battery went flat, and that was for real. So, this time it had been sitting even longer without starting it, so I just thought to myself, oh, that's a pity, the battery is flat. Either the battery is old or bad for whatever reason, or I have a leak. Charged the battery, back to the car, turned the key, no reaction. Then I tried the blinkers, they worked, and so forth. Then I realized, oh, maybe it is the transmission. Well it was, and now everything is fine. I had to laugh at myself.
