Had AMC made this, I would be lookin for one. 1977 AMC Pacer Concept Van.

It was supposed to be 4WD and turbocharged. It never got an engine. The rumor was it was gonna get the 4.2 (258) with a turbo. That wouldda been cool.
 
I believe the term is "groovy".

Plentiful turbo parts for 258/4.2/4.0 would have been nice.

looks about the same size as an eagle, those had 4wd underpinnings, didn't they?

You know, giving the popularity of Chryslers mini vans, and the fact that they helped save their ***, I wonder if they would have released it, if AMC's story would be different?
