P/S hose hitting K-frame

Lil Demon, I just read this thread as I am having the same issue with PS pump. 1970 FSM shows both types available, but diagram in manual only shows Federal and its hose routing for 6 and v8 engines. My car is a 70 Dart s6 to v8 conversion using Schumacher mounts, therefore it is a s6 K member. The Saginaw pump I installed first had the same interference problem with the driver side motor mount structure-no room behind pump for installation of the pressure hose. Pulleys lined up perfectly though. I installed a Federal pump and the pulley is 1/2" too far forward. I think it is the wrong pulley, FSM shows a solid pulley and mine has 3 "spokes". The offset from center to V groove is obviously different. I wonder if a v8 K member, with a possibly different motor mount structure, would allow the Saginaw pump the room it needs to the rear for the hose? What K member do you have? I will try to find the correct pulley for the federal pump, and if I can't I will attempt your 90* angle fitting solution with my Saginaw pump. I hope all turned out well for your PS problem.
