Your favorite football team and why.

Yes, Tebow. The good ole days. Haha
I was hoping you were a UVA fan. They look good. Gotta face Clemson if they keep rollin. Great game against the Seminoles, though!
Yea I route for UVA too. A guy that I went to high school with his little brother was s running back for uva he graduated in 2017 but he did a good job I at uva it was fun watching him. I dont really know him he is quite a bit younger than me but it was fun watching someone from my hometown play on a big stage. There was another guy that was from my hometown went to Tennessee and played too the same time I was really hoping one of them would get drafted but they didn't.

Never really a solid fan, but I would root for the Steelers since they were the closest to me in my state. One day at my job the guys (Steelers Fans) were discussing football and I mentioned that I liked the Steelers and was immediately was called a "Bandwagoner" by the rest of the group, I just shrugged it off and let them think what they want.

So, when the NFL announced 2 new expansion teams, I chose Carolina as my new team over Jacksonville because I have been in both states and Florida is too hot and N Carolina has some nice sites to see. I then told the co-workers my choice and stated "Cant call me a Bandwagoner, my team hasn't set foot on a field yet". To this day I am still a fan, I got a hold of an unused Inaugural Home game ticket on Ebay, and some Panther Gear, even traveled to Charlotte and took in a game at Ericsson Stadium during their 2nd season.

Which one is your team and why, so like, which players do you like and think are the winning picks for the season??

I am curious as to why people pick certain teams and players.

For me, it was go Denver since I was a teen, living here in Colorado 2/3s of my life. I never really questioned it. I think Von Miller was quite interesting to watch being a unique player. His tackles were quite awesome.

I would love to get into football more.

Buffalo Bills, cause they've only broke my heart 4 times. I've been to some games, great atmosphere. Maybe Josh is next one to break some hearts?

Packers. Was in New Orleans in 95 for business, saw them win the super bowl. Had some contact with some of the players through work, Farve was a good old country boy, especially early on. After 24 years on the waiting list got season tix for 3 games. List is over 120,000 now I think.

Fav ray.. that asshole.. still can't figure out if I love or hate the guy. The **** he pulled with going to the Vikings still hurts.. but damn, that vid of him in the SB still makes me smile. He, and to a bigger extent, Reggie White, brought GB out of mediocrity.

Patriots fan(but now I just root for Brady and Belichick) once they retire screw the N.f.l. :icon_fU::icon_fU::icon_fU:

I am a fan of what ever NFL team that Antonio Brown is playing for,,,
got to just love those millionaire morons, playing for those billionaire local tax sucking owners.
AB ain't got a team at the moment, but there are hundreds just like him, just not as noisy, playing every Sunday.

For those that 'follow a Team' think that Team cares about you? Why don't you give them a call and invite a few of your favorite players
over for your kids birthday party. Or maybe go hunting or go to church with you,, any thing you like to do that would involve them, having to
do something and not get paid. Even though they have millions more than you in the bank, and you are a huge fan, we both know what will happen.

49ers baby!!! Grew up watch Montana to Rice and hi stepping Craig!!!!

Diehard Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Have been from the late 50's through good and bad years. My favorite years were from the early 70's with Bradshaw, Harris and the Steel curtain. I'm glad Brown and Bell are gone.

49ers are my second favorite nfl team after skins. Had pleasure of working with and becoming friends with Ed Beard during my career in youth sports after college and military. He played for niners for 8 yrs. in 60’s & 70’s and then coached for them and several other nfl teams during his career.
Great man & role model. Almost 80 yrs old now but still looks like he could suit up & play.

Too bad Brown is such a "scumbag" he'd still be playing for the Patriots getting ANOTHER ring...oh well, they are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better off without him thats for sure!!

Although I disagree.Good for you in your beliefs. Hope they continue to serve you well.

Got to be Alabama fan since I have lived in Tuscaloosa entire life. Plus we have a pretty good team too! Roll Tide

There's more reasons why I love Green Bay.

It's the ONLY publicly owned team in the NFL. The Packers will NEVER leave Green Bay. There is not one owner who is making millions off the team. When the Packers want to do improvements, they sell stock in the team. Being a shareholder doesn't give you any voting rights or dividends.. just a nice certificate to hang on the wall that shows you support the Packers. Stock goes fast when they offer it. They did have a tax in 2003, but that tax for improvements was voted in by the residents of Brown County, and I'm sure the extra tax they paid was more than made up for with the huge boost in the local economy the the Packers bring in.
Who Owns the Green Bay Packers? Why the Team Is Unique in the NFL

I think Packer players are a little more involved with the local community that most teams are. You never see it in the national news, but Packer players are constantly doing things for the community.

Rawhide History

Packer fans would never suffer a fool like Antonio Brown. The Packers front office knows this.. they listen to the fans, ask Mike McCarthy.

So, please post a photo of you and Mike M at you kids birthday party,, or you and any GB player out doing something, like having lunch, hanging out,,, doing something that folks that really care about each other do. I know you won’t be able to do that as you have been duped. It’s your choice, give money to the already wealthy, or to yourself.

Why would I expect that from an NFL player? Should I expect that from any celebrity as well? Should I stop watching movies because Tom Hanks won't stop by for a beer when I ask him?
Hell, my congressman wouldn't do that.
What I would have the opportunity to do though, is if I had a troubled kid, is to send him to Rawhide.. a non-profit place for troubled kids to learn how to be better, and learn a trade.. that wasn't started by a TV personality, or the government, it was started by a Packer player.
If had a kid dying from leukemia in the hospital and I reached out to Green Bay, I think the chances would be pretty good of a few players stopping by.. they do that all the time.

I get it, you don't like football.

I know people that don't like Mopars. They don't insult me because I do, though.

Your avatar looks like the murderer Ray Lewis ex Baltimore Raven?
Leave/ignore the thread if ya dont like it or Pro Athletes holy cow.

My team is the Minnesota Vikings.
Not only because I was born and raised in Minnesota I also had a
extended family member who was part owner though a small
share owner (10%) when the Viking franchise came to Minnesota.

His name Ole Haugsrud. His wife was my grandfather's cousin. Her mother was my great grandfather's sister.
He also owned a NFL team in the 1920's The Duluth Eskimos.

Here's a little about him and how he got a share in the Vikings.

Ole Haugsrud
My Pa was a Packer fan. My Aunt and uncle lived in St. Paul.. I remember going up with Pa on a Sunday for a Pack-Vikes game.. Pa yelling at the TV because Tarkenton was 'runin around like a god-damn squirrel!'. Then he'd pop up and throw a 30 yard pass. I still love Tarkenton.. what a player he was.

Loved watching Redskins on Monday night football with Madden calling it.
Football ain't the same without Madden.
Riggins ran over people and did NOT run outta bounds like they do now.
Man, Riggins was a bruiser.. hated him when he played GB, but loved him as a player... left nothing on the field.
