Bad day on the assembly line?

The reason quality may have improved just a little bit because the Japs were showing what quality was all about. I bought a new Honda Civic in 80, went on an order list for 5 months. I received car in July and it was the first car I didn't have to go back to the dealer with a list of any problems. I bought an 83 Chrysler and boy was I sorry.
Bwhahahahaha. My brother in law bought a brand spanking new 75 CVCC (now called a civic). or commonly called a cats car since it never ran on a wet day. He traded it in on a Toyota Corrola and didn't last 1 year till he had to replace this long miserable "chineese puzzle style" timing chain there was no such thing as quality in the 75 -79 jap cars, maybe by the 80's they got it better, but early 70's they were just as junky if not worse than American made cars (oh and TINY) the only way they made any inroads is they did have great fuel economy in California and they (cali people)ate that crap up.
