Pictures of my next project

No, I used that title because you asked for the pictures. I wouldn't have posted them if you didn't ask.
You know I went back in my thread about the Speedmaster heads and look for where I was asking for pictures of your new motor? The best I can find is somewhere around post 454 on page 19 you said something about getting pictures to show everybody? (If I'm wrong please correct me just so we don't misinterpret the title for truth?) I think rumblefish360 called BS LOL...
My question still is about Post Number 8 what then? You say you're going to build a motor you say you're going to build another race car? What then?
Also I think this would be one hell of an opportunity for you since you can take pictures and post them obviously to show us the absolute perfect way to build an a body Mopar and its motor and drivetrain?
Remember don't leave anything on the table...:popcorn:

Now I can't find where the picture thing came from. It may not have been your SM thread though. I can never find stuff after its gone.

I told a guy here on FABO to swing by my house when I get home as I have a 340 block he may be interested in. I can't find the thread where that was. So I'll have to figure out how to find out who that was.

I appreciate you changing the name of the title because I was really kind of searching where I'd asked about pictures about a R block? Again that post 454 was the first I ever even heard of you having an R Block. Also I think you mentioned something in another Thread about not being able to find that video LOL it would be my pleasure to take a couple hours if need be in to dig through post to find it just for the laughs alone...
My question still remains- THEN WHAT...

If you can find the video post it. Neither ebigga (who made and posted the video) or I have any idea where it went. We actually looked for it last night. Can't find it.

As for what then...IDK yet. I know I don't want a race car. I really don't want anything with a roll bar. Anything that will make it harder to get in the car is out.

So IDK what happens when that engine is done. I do know, no mater what, this one goes across the pump. I'm not skipping that this time.

Someone snap me a PM like 2 minutes after I posted about that with possibly the exact location... lol...

And what cylinder head is that now?

The cylinder head on the engine in the video is an X head on one side and a later model 360 on the other. Can't think of the casting number but it has the smog holes in it.

I was finishing up the matching X heads that came with the engine and I got a small pin hole at the bottom of the valve job on one of the heads.

So I grabbed that smog head from under the bench and ported it because I didn't have another C head there and I wasn't porting two more iron pig heads.

Will we get some beginning to end pictures? Like block prep?
Here was mine...

You and your picture fetish.

I don't have access to a shot blaster anymore, unless run the block over to C's Machine or whatever he is calling it now. Up there off I-5 in Vancouver. Unless there is someone else. No one on my side of the mountains I know of. But the block really needs shot blasting.

I'll have to check with Tom and see. He won't care about pictures. I may see if I can do some video.

So yes, I'll take pictures for all you weirdos who are hooked on that crap. And maybe some video. Maybe. You can't hold me to that. And if it's video, it would be on the flow bench. And I'm not sure Tom wants to let stuff like that on the web. He and I paid to learn it. I'll ask him. He's pretty flexible. Usually.

LOL. I just don't get the picture fetish. Some are into it. But it's just one of those things I've never done.

Well, I was thinking about starting a thread on the 360 mag my middle son is building, but we already machined everything without taking pics. I am not good with electronic things. My wife says i'm a gorilla.I break everything.

It's very simple a picture is not only proof positive, it's usually worth a thousand words as I said pretty easily. It makes things easy to understand for people if they can see it... It's not a fetish it's a tool....
Ask somebody like 318hasvalvesthatwillfly.... He'll tell you stopping to take pictures of everything and then downloading them and then arguing with people and then actually trying to get the work done is quite a task sometimes. Like this is a nice start we have pictures of a block and talk so much more. It didn't start out as me wanting to see pictures but now that you started from the beginning it would be kind of cool to see Progressive pictures as you probably seen many members do as well... It's a great tool to help tell the story of how to do it....
You got to admit when someone makes a one-off bracket to install a custom aftermarket item pictures sure the hell help....

Yeah, that makes sense. I do love cool fabrication stuff.

Just remember guys like 318hasvalvesthatwillfly is much more photogenic than me. And much more patient than I am.

We rarely if ever take pictures of ourselves just of the project. And we also make sure that we check our pictures to make sure there's no phone numbers or something in the background...

Yes you're correct it takes a tremendous amount of patience to take pictures and get yourself in various positions to take them underneath the car and underneath the dash and then of course like I said reviewing them and cropping them so they're blowing up so people can see them properly. And then downloading each one and waiting for that and again doing the work and arguing with people about it on the internet as well LOL patients yes.....
You have no idea and if you did you would...
