Hello all,
I bought a '72 Demon in July and plan on fixing it up "Roadkill Garage Style" (mechanical first before cosmetics) and racing it. It's been sitting non-opped since 1989 and has 81K original miles on it. It's a 318 3spd manual care with 8 3/4 rear. I got a smoking deal on it and even talked the guy down $1000 from his asking price :)

Welcome to FABO, i love the car!
The second A-Body i ever owned was a '71 Demon 318 3 speed on the floor with an 8 3/4 rear end like yours in 1981.
it is an awesome combination and a great package IMHO.
I had a lot of fun with that car and it never let me down.
I would love to see more pictures when you get the resizing thing figured out, and maybe start a build thread on here.
Also, I have another '71 Demon 318 that i plan on resurrecting in the future to replicate my old one, but it is an automatic and a Sizzler............

Welcome aboard from the frozen tundra, love the Demon! Lots of really bright folks on FABO. Don’t hesitate to use them, and remember, with this bunch no pix means it didn’t happen!

Here's a few I've resized. I also bought Jegs seats and Assault Racing electronic ignition system for it.

I'll put together a build thread when I have a free moment.

Thanks, I'll do a build thread on it also. I was Happy I could save it and the price was MORE than right :)

Welcome from Wisconsin!
Kudos to you man, for dragging that out of the weeds!

Welcome, nice car, definitely looks like it was parked for a long time, nice job of saving it, now on with the resurrection!
