Which type? stand alone or combo valve?
assuming a-body

Sorry I didn't realize there were more than one. This type right here. 71 Duster with KH discs.

Yep. Jan 1, 1970 was the start of the combination distribution block with safety switch and proportioning valve.
Yes the one for A-bodies looks like that. Should be able to find a decent used one.

I believe the one is post #4 is E body because it has the stud. A body should have the hole like in post #5. I think the actual valve is the same, just different mounting.

That's what I like about this place. You guys know the smallest of details when it comes to these things. Definitely need the A body version.

I dug out what I had and polished them on the wire wheel. They are $18 each shipped or $60 for all 4 . Check out the pics, they may be different than what's posted. I think these are for drum brakes.

Dang thanks for all the effort Greg but those all look like drum distribution blocks. I appreciate you pulling those out so I could see.

Get anything?

Still looking.

This is the valve off of a 71 duster it is marked 171-0 K/H I used it with single piston brakes from a 73. It was for 4 piston brakes. it worked great

Then I have one on the brown Duster. That came from a original 71 Demon. marked 272-1 That is is marked 272-1 It does not have the K/H

Notice they are different in styles but only the 70's are K/H They have the shorter adapter then the 71 and 73 which have the line around the adapter.

I have more I will check them for years and design. I believe they all can be used on either 4 piston or single piston. There is one thing I can tell you is that these two valves work far better then the cars that come with dual valves. When stopping at 100 mph plus. I don't no why but the car squats even. It seams as though the front brakes are not doing all the stopping. It also does not push applying the brakes in a turn as the older dual valves did on my early 340 69 and back cars. Back in the 70's I drove these cars like I stole them. The dual valves worked better on the heavier models. Not on the A-bodies.

Personally I would look to get one of these single valves. I use them on everything. Unless you are looking for brakes on a OEM trailer queen

Now this is only my opinion from experience from my younger day's when I drove like a nut. I am more calmed down now then I was.

These are not for sale. They are for reference. I found only the 70 are marked K/H. I prefer these over the 71- 73 that have problems sticking. Again just my experience. Use this info how you want. They are all rebuild-able

Thanks Jim but I don't think those will work for this application. Plus I'd have to replumb all my lines.

Thanks oldmanmopar. You have no idea how disappointed I was when I got to the end of that and realized they were not for sale. Talk about a tease.

I have one, did you ask me about one of these at one of the mopar shows last week btw? $50 + ship or pick up from me in San Jose.
