I sure it’s been asked a million times!
What is most/least backspacing you can have on a 15 inch wheel with 8 3/4?
Suspension in stock location.
Have my eye on a set of auto drags but have no rear end in it yet.
They are 15x7 3 1/2 bs.

With that wheel you may have to run a 65 or 70 series tire. I ran 15x7 4 1/4'' backspace with a 215/70/15 tire without any problem on my 68.You may have issues with clearance to the outside fender well with 3 1/2'' backspace depending on tire size.

put a wheel and tire on and do some measuring -- tires list all measurements by rim size

I would but no rear end in it yet, that’s my reason for asking.
Original 7 1/4 going to 8 3/4.
Not into restomod wheels like period correct

4-4 1/2" backspace is normal for most Mopars. With a rear end swap your results may be different.

Those won't work . As was previously posted , 4-4 1/2" is about optimal . I you use 4 1/2" backspace you can move the rim outboard with spacers . Rim width of 7, 7 1/2 or 8 is about right .
