Here is a thought.
When I was looking for the aluminum trim that goes on the back of the seat for the boot cover to attach to the rear seat and couldn't find one I ended up buying a complete whole 1968 Dodge Dart convertible. This was a running driving car that the right 1/4 was damaged badly and the 1/4 glass broken.
I had to pick it up and it was 4 hrs from my house. It was in the same town my dads family lived and some still do today.
I used lots of parts off it then sold the car for $60 less than I paid for it. But in reality since I sold many of the parts I removed made money on it and got what I needed.
There are cars out there that are not good to restore but good for parts. If you have the means to pick up and store and don't mind parting out then you might be able to get the parts you need and help someone out with parts they need.
