check crank endplay. is the balancer jammed forward and not able to move back and forth? possibly something in the trans snapped and it pushing forward causing extra pressure on the thrust bearing. had an old wagon that had that problem; ran like it needed the carb rebuilt or plugs changed. hope not in your case but is a possibility.

All great advise! Thanks guys! I only have liability sadly.. But yeah..i agree.. If her insurance has claimed 100% fault and etc..any shop should be more than happy to look at her. I just decided to call a classic automotive repair shop and say..hey..i need an estimate on these things.. This is what i have...this is what needs to be done..and...there..send it to me..we'll see where that gets me.m
