Carb and throttle cable help

So I got in the adapter for the edlebrock carb. The throttle cable is to long. Having trouble finding what one I need to get. Can somebody help point me in the right direction?

A slant 6 cable originally. That was mentioned before. You need a V8 cable. Start a wanted thread and find one.
