I had this same argument with a Ford and a Chevy guy they was talking smack about 318s. I said my my 318 16 cubes bigger than your 302 and only 9 cubes smaller than your beloved 327 tell me again why a 318 is trash?? With a bumb in compression and some good flowing heads my 318 will smoke em both.
