Another project/ inexpensive/ open EFI system?????

The Arduino is an 8bit processor, versus the 16bit (thought is was 32) one used by the MS unit. Not sure I'd want to bother for that reason alone. There is a balance between cheap (cost) and cheap (time). if you're the kind of person who likes to tinker and get all you can from a small, limited capability computer, by all means, knock yourself out. Could be pretty cool.

EDIT: In the interest of not being a fire and forget morning... I went and edumicated myself.. This thing is actually pretty impressive. Still don't like the 8bit MCU, if it's not 8bit, i couldn't find it. Seems the math for adjusting mixtures etc based on various sensors would be much better with more capable processors, but I guess I need to reserve judgement until more info is gathered. It is intriguing.
