Its a 1956 super 88. Have the hood and side panels off of it from fixing the gas tank. Runs much cooler now. Have a 10 foot bush hog type mower. PO put the wide front end on it, it’s a beast
Yes, they are built to work for sure. Great old tractors.
I grew up farming with an 88, the precursor to the Super. Also had my great grandfather's Oliver 70 that he bought new, those were the two workhorses on our farm. Still have the 70 with intent to see if I can bring it back to life sometime soon. I think it would make Grandpa happy looking down from above to see it running and still in the family!
