Best Weber Progressive 2 barrel
Here is another tip for you on the 32/36 progressive Carbs.
The stock vw engines came with a lame dinky one barrel that would never run right. Adapted over the Chrysler 1 bbl from the slant sixes and the whole tone of the engine would deepen giving it the fuel it needs, and idled perfect.
Same on the big cam big displacement vw engines, 1835 cc 1915 cc ported and headers.
Then we swapped in the Progressives 32/36 upped the jetting, better peformance yet and now we have the secondary to open up for added power too on top of how nice it was running.
Nice simple setup, adjustability and works very well.
We used to have to go in and change the jetting for the different elevations we were running at the different locations around the United States. Too rich, too lean, we could dial them right in.
